This is a superbly balanced ram. He has a magnificent, super-soft SRS wool. He is at the elite level of growth ebvs, and has very good muscle and nlw% ebvs. The 2005 drop of his hoggets at Severn Park and with clients in the NSW Central West are stunning for both growth and rangy, free, soft skins. Has a silky muzzle and massive jaw. Is a skin ‘eraser’.
An industry freak:
With a +11 growth EBV, 3.199 sits in the top 3 sheep out of 1 million tested animals. Leading prime lamb
innovator and breeder, Tom Bull of Lambpro near Holbrook, NSW, who saw 3.199 at Severn Park’s October 2005 Workshop, said “The ram is an industry freak and if carefully used should have a major impact - like any such freak in any sheep breed.”
3.199’s skin tests reveal a ram of outstanding pre-potent genetic potential for SRS major gene effects. His follicle density is at least 48% above industry average; he has extraordinarily fine primaries for a large, growth ram , and has a thin skin with a very low Dp/Ds. His progeny are extremely even and plain, with loose skin: a de-wrinkler because of his skin-drivers.

Severn Park 030977: Half-poll
A 'Wool' ram with very good muscle and growth ebvs. He is ET bred from one of our top performing ewes, and is a super-bold, lustrous, white-woolled SRS ram, with a silky muzzle, gentle eye and very exciting wool. His first progeny have excellent skins and bodies, and he throws over 50% poll. He is elite at the follicle level, with very fine primaries, a very low Dp/Ds, and is at least 40% above industry average on follicle density.

He possesses an advanced skin and fibre, with above average growth and fertility ASBVs, and high muscle ASBV. His first drop of lambs are very promising and even. Severn Park 4.129 (040405): ‘The Alchemist’ – 2 years old
A sire with exceptional, ground-breaking skin and fibre – with advanced, new-dimensional fibres that are soft, bundly, deep-crimped, lustrous and very fine. Has wonderful ‘handle’, which reveals the fibre’s new physico-chemical properties. For his micron (13.8), 4.129 has a very long staple and large body size. Has above average growth and fertility ASBVs. His first progeny drop are very even and promising, and he has tested clear to black recessives.
